What is 64-bit and 32-bit?

what is the difference between a 32-bit operating system and 64-bit operating system.

What is 64-bit and 32-bit?

64-bit -- power and efficacy

32-bit -- compatibility

There aren't too many reliable drivers but for 64-bit computers.

BTW, Windows XP 32-bit will run on 64-bit cores (at least on AMDs) its in recent times that it can't take power of 64-bit features and you may encounter driver-related problems. Windows XP 64-bit Edition supposedly fills this aperture but again you'll be hard-pressed to find the necessary drivers.
If you enjoy a 64-bit processor you can run either 32 of 64 operating system on Intel processors because Intel made them upward compatible. The 64-bit newspaper will operate slightly faster because the compiled code is optimized and surprisingly a lot of CPU cycles are spent moving facts from one place to another in memory.

I merely know about Linux which have two binary versions but I guess Windoze have this also.
64 bit is like a 6 lane highway and the 32 bit is close to a 4 lane. Data transfer is smoother but runs hotter next others.. Hope I could help if oh well at most minuscule it was best that I could notify you.
