i be just wondering when i jump to my roxio cd/dvd burner when i click on the data tab it say make bootable what does that stingy?
What does this stingy "Make Bootable"?
When you format a 3 1/2 " floppy disc.....you copy system files to it. Then it will boot by utself without going to yuour harddrive.
It make the cd bootable; bootable disks allow you to access a program, menu or prompt without have or needig to use the operating system on the computer's hard drive.
A boot disc is one that you can use to nouns up your system without requiring it to run your usual OS (ie, Windows) - your system is loading up sour the disc/CD/DVD instead
