Like to live dangerously, don't you. Mine have a smiliar partition that come that way from HP. NOT A REAL BRIGHT IDEA TO GO CHANGING those settings. My D: is titled HP_RECOVERY.

So I estimate I'd just go it alone and not mess with mother spirit.
Partition Magic
Free & easy tool :

http://partitionlogic.org.uk/

Partition Logic is a free firm disk partitioning and data running tool. It can create, delete, format, defragment, resize, and move partitions and modify their attributes. It can copy entire not easy disks from one to another.

Partition Logic is free software, based on the Visopsys operating system. It boots from a disc or floppy disk and runs as a standalone system, independent of your regular operating system. It is intended to become a free alternative to such commercial programs as Partition Magic, Drive Image, and Norton Ghost .

All the name tools are extremely dangerous surrounded by unskilled hands. If you mess up you can lose everything. In my humble feelings Norton has the scariest program of all- perchance that's why it's called Ghost. You can also use your window XP disk to wipe the drive and put partitions on it.
